A memorial ceremony and two minutes' silence was held at London's Waterloo Station on Thursday 11 November, to mark Remembrance Day.

11/11, also known as Armistice Day, marks the end of hostilities in World War I, and those who have lost their lives in war.

Wreaths were laid as a mark of respect for those who served and died.
