An elderly man took a woman’s phone away after she dropped it on a snow-covered road in northern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Baicheng in Jilin Province on November 9 shows a woman’s phone dropping out of her pocket and falling onto a snow-covered road when she was playing with a man.

An elderly man saw the incident and then used his foot to push the snow onto the phone to cover it instead of telling the woman.

After the elderly man confirmed that the woman and the man walked far enough away, he walked back to take the phone out of the snow and put in his own pocket.

According to local reports, the elderly man has returned the phone to the woman after police intervened in the case.
