New MotoGP Circuit at Mandalika Indonesia
Starting from the 2022 season, Indonesia will be the host of the MotoGP race. The location is on the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara Province.
Before MotoGP, at the circuit it will first take place
The World Superbike or WSBK Mandalika race, November 19-21, 2021. But it was just about to start, it has caused controversy, because a video of the Ducati team's box being opened by unauthorized officers was circulating.
Currently, the officers are still pursuing the completion of the work, building the audience stands, painting the kerbs and track lines. The Mandalika Circuit has a track length of 4.31 km with 17 bends.
To expedite the distribution of logistics, the local government has prepared a new road called By Pass Mandalika. This route makes the distance from Lombok International Airport or from downtown Mataram, the capital of West Nusa Tenggara, faster.
