Thousands took to the streets of Madrid this Saturday (November 13) to demand self-determination for Western Sahara.

Tensions have flared over the past few months between Morocco and Algeria over the former Spanish colony that Morocco sees as its own sovereign territory.

As every November, in commemoration of the illegal tripartite agreements of Madrid, Saharawi take to the streets in Madrid to demand an end to exile in the Sahrawi refugee camps in Algeria and the occupation of Morocco from the territories of Western Sahara and to demand the right to self-determination.
