Crowds flocked to the City of London on Saturday afternoon (November 13) to see the first Lord Mayor's Show since the coronavirus pandemic.

Video shows Vincent Keaveny, a Dubliner in London, taking part in the Lord Mayor’s Parade in a golden, horse-drawn carriage. Keaveny becomes the 693rd lord mayor of the City of London.

The parade was disrupted by climate campaigners Extinction Rebellion.

Lord Mayor's show has returned to London after the lockdown with parade, going back to the 13th century. The procession marks the first public engagement for the new Lord Mayor of the City of London, Vincent Keaveny, the 693rd Lord Mayor.
