City comes to a halt during 2 minute silence on remembrance day in Leeds

Crowds gathered outside the cenotaph on Victoria Gardens in Leeds City Centre this morning (14th November) as remembrance day parades took place across the UK. At approximately 11am, Leeds City Centre fell silent for 2 minutes during the remembrance service to pay respects to those who fought in wars around the world. 1000's of spectators lined the streets nearby to watch the service & parades put on by the armed forces & veterans. Local MP's Hilary Benn & Rachel Reeves were also in attendance.
