More than 150 staff of Hong Kong airline Cathay Pacific have created a tongue-in-cheek Spotify playlist after tough COVID-19 quarantine rules were imposed on them.

The flight attendants and pilots have reportedly been instructed to avoid all unnecessary social contact for 21 days after layovers abroad.

Cathay Pacific staff confined to Penny Bay, Hong Kong, have created a Spotify playlist featuring songs such as "I Want To Break Free" by Queen, "All By Myself" by Celine Dion and "SOS" by ABBA.

This quarantine center has become infamous in the expatriate community of Hong Kong, targeted every now and then by blanket quarantines issued to anybody deemed to be a "close contact" of a COVID patient. Recently, 120 children from a Discovery Bay school were sent to this quarantine center, simply because they were deemed to be close contacts. The mother and the child of a cargo plane pilot (found positive with the virus) frequented the school, hence sending everyone to quarantine for three days (surprisingly, as the habitual quarantine period enforced in Hong Kong is rather of 21 days, one of the longest in the world.
