A little girl from Calgary in Canada had the most adorable reaction when her mother joked that she'd eaten all her daughter's Halloween candy.

Footage captured on November 2 shows Petra Mace explaining to her little one that she got so hungry that she ate almost all the treats.

The little girl doesn't get in the slightest upset and even reassures her mother that what she did was completely okay.

After a few moments of reflection, she does wonder what got into her mother.

"Why so hungry for that?" the cute little girl asks.

Before Mace reveals the prank, the kind-hearted girl even offers her mother one of the few remaining sweets.

"Ever since we had kids, we wanted to pull this prank," Mace said.

"I thought my daughter would be crying or screaming because her candy was gone, but to my surprise, she was very kind and understanding," she added.

Not only does the little one not get upset at her mom but she also keeps assuring her that what she did was completely okay. She seems to be content with the handful of treats still left on the table. Though, she does ask Petra, "Why so hungry for that?"
