Miscreant seeks blessing from god before stealing donation box from temple in western India
A robber sought blessings in front of the shrine before stealing the donation box from underneath it in Western India's Maharashtra on November 9. The incident took place in a temple located in Thane.
CCTV footage features the miscreant entering the temple premises. He checks out his surroundings thoroughly before carrying out the theft. Moreover, he initially approaches the shrine and seeks blessing from it, following which he grabs the donation box and absconds with it.
The donation box contained cash worth Rs 1,000 (USD 13.44). However, the priest of the temple soon alerted the local police, who arrested the miscreant on Saturday, following which they retrieved the cash from him.
