Despite the challenging times in the country, a cucumber in the shape of the virus found in a village raised curiosity among several in eastern India's Odisha on November 15. The incident took place in Saraguda village of Nabarangpur district.

Visuals feature the coronavirus-shaped cucumber growing on the farm of the village, astonishing several villagers in the vicinity. Meanwhile, the farmers flaunt the unusual cucumber with spikes on its surface similar to the coronavirus to the onlookers in broad daylight while holding them delicately in their hands.

The plant was found in the farming land of Chandra Pujari of Saraguda village by Rabi Kiran while he went for some work. This occurrence created curiosity amongst the locals as the farmers claimed that the cucumber looked like the visual representation of the coronavirus. However, it has been claimed that this may not be a disease, but there could be some problem in the seeds, or it became unusual due to the weather conditions.
