This footage was filmed and produced 15 November 2021.
Heavy rains and strong winds hitting southern British Columbia on Monday have led to flooding and fallen trees in parts of Metro Vancouver. Metro Vancouver could see 140 to 180 millimetres of rainfall on Monday, according to a statement from Environment Canada, along with the western Fraser Valley, Whistler, Howe Sound, and parts of the Sunshine Coast.
The video shows Capilano River being flooded after the storm. The author of the video says he has never seen the water this high in the past 20 years.
