Dense stratus lowlevel clouds at the bottom of swiss alpine valley while great Sun shines above
dense stratus clouds are seen filling the bottom of entire valley of Valais canton in southwestern Switzerland but above it nice sun is shining. Beautiful day above the fog. No wind, very calm air and rather mild temps. But down in the valley it was grey all day.
in the distance majestic swiss Alps can be seen including the famous Matterhorn, also in distance the majestic Mont-Blanc on french-italian border.
this is the view from a mountain called "Scex Riond" , sometimes also spelled "Sex Riond" northwest of Conthey-Vétroz in central Valais canton, Switzerland.
