Thick smoke rose into the air after a fire erupted at Zainab Market in Karachi, Pakistan, on November 17.

Footage shows the clouds of black smoke billowing into the air over multi-storey buildings in the city.

No casualties have been reported.

A fire engulfed the top floor of the Victoria Centre, popularly known as Zainab Market, in Karachi, Pakistan on Wednesday (Nov 17) morning. The building houses garment shops on lower floors, while upper floors are used either as warehouses or wholesale shops. What actually caused the fire is not yet known, but it is the second blaze within a four-day span in a commercial building in the same vicinity. A huge fire had erupted on Sunday (Nov 14) at the famous Cooperative Market for garments on the same street, gutting at least 34 shops.
