Close encounters with wild boars in Hong Kong as city launches a cull

Hong Kong has launched a cull of wild boars, after one of the animals bit a police officer in the territory.

But despite several recent attacks and other incidents involving humans, boars are not always aggressive, as this compilation of videos filmed between October 2020 and January 2021, shows.

The footage shows juvenile wild boars foraging near a forest path in Wong Tai Sin district. The animals appear pretty tame and not afraid of human proximity.
