A motorcycle owner found a snake hiding inside his vehicle’s engine in Indonesia.

Motorcycle owner Mia was about to start the motorbike when she saw the snake crawling inside in Pulogadung District, East Jakarta City on November 12. She called the fire department to retrieve the reptile.

The fire brigade arrived with their tools and tried to evacuate the python, which was curled near the two-wheeler’s brake lights.

However, it was tightly wound around the engine, so the officers had to disassemble the motorcycle’s body before uncoiling the serpent from the vehicle.

Mia said: ‘The snake was evacuated within 15 minutes.’

She thanked the firefighters for their prompt response. Meanwhile, the snake was released in an area far from settlements.
