A motorist calmly recorded their close encounter with a wild Siberian tiger in northern China.

Video captured in the city of Hunchun in Jilin Province on November 16 shows the tiger walking out of the trees and running away along a road as Mr Zhao recorded it.

Zhao said: "There is nothing to be afraid of. I drove after it to use my phone to record which is like visiting a zoo."

Zhao told the local reporters, there were lots of mountains and trees in the city and it is also close to Russia, so the wild animals can be seen very often.
