A massive landslide buried a pickup truck in northern China.

Dramatic video captured in the city of Hanzhong in Shaanxi Province on November 17 shows rocks tumbling down a mountain and hitting onto a white pickup truck driving past.

A man in the video is heard saying in Mandarin: “What the hell, a pickup truck has been buried. Oh my god! There was a person as well. It’s so scary. There is no one in the car, I saw the person came out of it and ran away.”

According to reports, the motorist abandoned his car and fled after he spotted the imminent danger. He suffered head injuries and was treated in hospital.

Rocks kept tumbling down the mountainside for more than an hour, according to eyewitnesses cited by local media.

11月17日中午，陕西汉中市略阳县马蹄湾镇嘉陵江旁发生惊险一幕：沿江道路上方突然出现山体滑坡，一辆路过皮卡车遭到掩埋。幸运的是，司机发现险情后及时弃车逃跑，躲过一劫，头部受伤在医院治疗。
据事发现场视频显示，一条碧绿的江水旁，突然发生山体滑坡的情况下，大量山体石块往下坠落，染浑了江水，一辆白色皮卡车被滚落的山石冲歪，部分车体被掩埋，视频拍摄者称：“有的山石比受损车还大！”
据目击者介绍，17日中午12时许，他刚好下班路过附近，听到声响后发现是江边的山体出现滑坡，当时正好有一辆小车经过，还好车上只有司机一人，反应比较快，发现危险后及时停车，并弃车逃跑，当时落石持续了一个多小时。
17日晚8时许，略阳县政府工作人员告诉记者，中午事发后，县里领导就带交通局的主要领导赶往现场处置，被砸损的是一辆皮卡车，司机逃离时头部受轻伤，已送往医院救治。因公路上方仍有落石，待现场情况稳定后，再进行石方清理和公路恢复工作，目前请过往司机注意绕行。（视频由陕西台提供）
