Fire Fighter Structural Burn Class, Hughesville, Muncy, Pennsylvania
On Saturday morning members of Hughesville , Muncy and surrounding areas met in the 1300 block of lime bluff road for a structure burn. Members of the local fire departments gathered to train in several different drills and rescue tasks. Crews spent time rotating between Pressurized water can drills, search, RIT, fire suppression and venting the roof throughout the morning and into the afternoon.
Once crews rotated through the second floor than the first floor of the house the class backed off a little than let the house free burn to the ground while keeping it in check to make sure the surrounding area didn’t catch fire as it burned down
