Locals in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, cast their nets as floodwater rushed through the streets on November 21.

Footage shows kids making the most of the floods by swimming and even playing cricket in the floodwater.

According to reports, floods in the state killed a total of 35 people.

Due to excessive water released from the dams in Andhrapradesh, the temple city of Tirupathi is flooded, and the floodwater is splashing through the streets of Tirupathi. These areas became a playground for the kids and families who are coming in large numbers to take a dip, play, and fish in the floodwaters.

Footage filmed on 21st November shows kids enjoying swimming in the floodwater and catching fish and playing the popular sport cricket in the flooded streets of Tirupathi.

Andhra Pradesh on Sunday continued to reel under the aftermath of heavy rains and flash floods that wreaked havoc on the state, killing a total of 35 people.
