About 3,500 people joined a protest on Sunday November 21 in Brussels against the new COVID19 measures. The demonstrators named the rally “Together for Freedom” as the COVID measures became stricter, including mandatory mask-wearing for people aged 10 or above. The protest turned violent towards the end when the demonstrators started throwing objects at police. The city's security forces deployed water cannons and tear gas.

This video shows the city being looted and damaged.
