Residents in Bengaluru, Karnataka, were evacuated on rafts after their homes were affected by floods.

Footage from November 22 shows rescue teams arriving at apartments partially submerged by the floodwater and evacuating stranded residents.

The torrential rains lashed the South India. Tamilnadu Karnataka Andra Pradesh and Kerala was also affected due to the continuous and intense downpour of the rains.

Residents of an apartment in were evacuated by tractors and the boats as flood water entered their premises leaving the car parking inundated.

Cars and Two wheelers parked in the apartment were immersed in flooding.

Residents were evacuated still some who live in the heights chose to stay back.

But the apartment complex looked completely like an island cut off from the roads on all sides.
