A mother buffalo is seen chasing after a vehicle carrying her calf on a road in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Footage from November 20 shows the large animal trot after a motorcyclist with a calf loaded onto his vehicle.

The mother buffalo had given birth to the calf in a nearby field and the farmer had loaded it onto a motorcycle to transport it to a warmer place.

Buffalo follows a vehicle in the busy road as the rider carries its calf on it in South India.

Prasanth Mohan rears a herd of buffalos as he runs a small diary business. One of his buffalo was pregnant and it went for grazing in the nearby fields. It gave birth to a calf there itself. The owner came to know about this and took the calf in his two wheeler to the shed to give necessary warmth and feed.
Just turned mama buffalo got confused as its calf was carried away. Hence it started following the two wheeler. The bike stopped on the signals and speeded on roads the mama buffalo went according. It also tried to attack its owner to safeguard its calf.
