Firefighters rescue elderly man hanging from third-floor window of building in eastern China
Firefighters rescued an elderly man hanging from a third-floor window of a residential building in eastern China.
Video shot in the city of Xuzhou in Jiangsu Province on November 23 shows a man holding an air-con unit cover on the third floor and standing on the second-floor canopy outside a residential building.
Nearby residents held a bedsheet under the building in case the old man
fell down.
A fireman climbed out of the window on the second floor, caught the old man and brought him back to safety in just 20 minutes.
Nearby residents witnessing the rescue applauded the firemen.
