This is the heartwarming moment a passing fisherman saved a baby dolphin stuck in a net in Thailand.

The hero seaman, known by his nickname Ta, was driving the boat with a group of tourists in Nakhon Si Thammarat province on November 21 when he noticed the baby dolphin thrashing around in the water.

He went closer and found the creature trapped inside a discarded trawling net.

Without hesitation, Ta dived into the water and grabbed the net, dragging it to his boat where he worked on cutting the dolphin loose. He tore the net apart using his bare hands, finally freeing the baby dolphin to the open sea.

Passenger Manat Kongnoon said: ‘I was impressed with Ta’s actions. He did not think twice before jumping into the water and rescuing the sea animal.’
