Police officer saves goat-like goral trapped by wire rope on cliff in China
A police officer saved a wild goral trapped by a wire rope on a hundred-metre high cliff in southern China.
Heroic video filmed in Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province on November 25 shows a police officer tying one side of a rope to his body, while the other side of it was held by the forest protection team members and passersby.
The police then climbed down the cliff to approach the trapped goral.
Eventually, the goral was freed from the wire rope which was used as a snare for illegally hunting years ago.
Police later tore the wire rope down.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
