This is the moment a driver with quick reactions dodged a turning truck in Thailand.

Police Lieutenant Pongchana Muadtong, 28, was driving home in Nakhon Si Thammarat province, southern Thailand on September 22.

However, while he was speeding down the road, a truck made a sudden turn and almost hit him.

The quick-thinking policeman swerved to avoid the truck, nearly grazing the vehicle which was mere inches away.

Pongchana said he did not go down to confront the truck driver, but wanted other motorists to use the dashcam video to be more careful on the road.

He said: ‘Luckily, I was alert while driving, otherwise I would have been in a terrible situation right now. I want other road-users to take this as an example to be cautious while driving.’
