A couple of pedestrians escaped injuries after a car skidded across a frozen road on its side in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, on November 28.

One pedestrian is seen running to the side of the road to escape the oncoming vehicle sliding down the road.

District Police Superintendent Gurudev Singh explained that the car had skidded over a pool of water that had frozen overnight.

A pedestrian and a car driver escaped with their lives after a car dramatically slid. CCTV footage on the national highway in Kullu in the state of Himachal Pradesh shows a car sliding down the road. A pedestrian saw the hurling vehicle and jumped aside to save himself. The car was going from Kullu to Manali and skidded at a place called Domi. District Police Superintendent Gurudev Singh said the car skidded over a pool of water which had frozen overnight. He added that in a similar incident near Shimla many vehicles had been damaged and asked drivers to be careful while driving on winter mornings. The CCTV footage was captured at a hotel on the highway.
