This is the moment a ranger came to the rescue of a wild bear that was caught in a trap in central India.

Footage captured on November 26 in the Panna Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh shows the bear squealing in pain as the rescuers arrive to free it.

They managed to cut the snare from its leg and later carried it to a local animal hospital for treatment.
