The sound of heavy machinery and reversing lorries echos through the darkness as ITV staff rush to restore full power capabilities and lighting to the Castle, which tonight sits in darkness and is seen illuminated with torches and searchlights in the video. The Castle would normally be floodlit every night during production and has proved a popular attraction among local residents for this reason.

The canopy of the production centre, pictured heavily damaged in the aftermath of the storm, has now been completely removed, leaving only the steel structure of the very final section in place.
