An irrigation tank overflowed sending water cascading onto the field below in Pachdhar, Madhya Pradesh.

A shocking incident puzzled the minds of the onlookers in central India's Madhya Pradesh on November 29. The incident took place in Betul.

Visuals feature the water overflowing from the large water tank in broad daylight, leading to a picturesque scene as it looks like a majestic waterfall from a safe distance. However, from the other end, the water is thrown out through a pressure pipe while the water continues to flow from above the tanker, inundating the nearby areas.

The officers from the Water Resources Department on Monday arrived to test the tank built for irrigation from the Parasdoh Dam on the Tapti river, but as soon as the testing began, water began to flow from above the tank due to a valve break. Due to this, it looked like a waterfall while this situation continued for about two hours. Meanwhile, several gallons of water overflowed from it, causing a hazardous situation.

Now the technical staff is working to make the system of water supply for the farmers of most of the villages. The scheme has been prepared at Rs. 585 crore (USD 7,78,96,143), and in this, an area of 19,750 hectares will be irrigated in six schemes. This will benefit about 30,000 farmers, and water from it will go through the canal.
