This is the heart-stopping moment a motorcycle rider was almost run over by a truck at a petrol station in Malaysia.

The 29-year-old road used was crouched down putting air in his tires when the truck, on its way to the station exit, made a sharp turn and nearly dragged him under its wheels.

CCTV video capturing the near miss in Selangor, Malaysia, on November 23 shows the man being swept off his feet by the large vehicle and barely avoiding being crushed.

The rider suffered minor injuries and is now recovering at a private hospital.

North Klang District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner S Vijaya Rao said: ‘As a result of the violation, the 29-year-old male motorcyclist was pushed to the left and almost rolled over.

‘The motorcyclists involved will be present to make a report after receiving treatment. The driver of the trailer did not suffer any injuries.’

The police chief added that the incident is now under investigation and urged the public not to make speculations that could interfere with the case.
