Dozens of West Papuan people took action to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the West Papua Declaration of Independence in front of the United States Embassy, Central Jakarta
Dozens of Papuan people who are members of the Papuan Student Alliance, the Indonesian Central Highlands Student Association and the Indonesian People's Front for West Papua, Wednesday morning took action to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the West Papua Declaration of Independence, which falls today, December 1, 2021.
The action was carried out in front of the United States ambassador's office, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta.
In the action, dozens of Papuan people shouted that America is the number one terrorist country in the world.
In the action held today, the people of West Papua asked for demilitarization, revoked the extension of Special Autonomy and gave the people of West Papua the right to self-determination.
