A passerby smashed a front windscreen to rescue a driver trapped in a burning truck after a crash in eastern China.

CCTV video captured in the county of Anji in Zhejiang Province on November 26 shows a truck bursting into flames and flipping over after colliding with a car.

Another clip shows a man throwing a stone at the front windscreen of the truck to smash it open. The driver is then seen climbing out of the burning vehicle.

Another man used an extinguisher to try to put out the fire.

Finally, firefighters arrived on site to put out the huge fire. Fortunately, no one was injured.

According to the surveillance camera, the truck turning a corner did not give way to the car moving straight and the car did not slow down in advance when driving past an intersection.

The police department is investigating the case.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
