Seventeen-year-old busker Mia Kirkland was continually harassed by a man looking to invade her private space.

On the streets of York, UK, Mia was trying her best to put on a beautiful show by playing her songs on the evening of October 22.

What followed was a man coming within close contact with Mia and pestering her by leaning into her whilst she was trying to sing into her microphone.

This escalated into a forced kiss on the cheek and then what appears to be, the man reaching around and touching Mia inappropriately on her backside.

Mia instantly darted away as other people passing by noticed and tried to confront the man who was trying to place blame on his dog.

Mia said: "In the video, you can see how I am singing on the streets as I usually do.

"However one of the audience members begins to invade my personal space and make me feel uncomfortable, this continues for many hours as you can see that it turns from day to night.

"I have to deal with many things whilst out busking so I know how to remain professional and kind to my audience however, this man definitely crossed a line when he then sexually assaulted me.

"I was so angry at this man as I put myself in a vulnerable position and he took advantage of that and violated my body.

"After the video ended I soon left as I was so emotional about what had happened and so could not continue."
