A herd of elephants, including calves, strayed into a fenced region in northeastern India's Assam on December 3. The incident took place in the Thurajan Tea Garden, located in the Golaghat district.

Visuals feature the group of elephants approaching the fenced region. The pachyderms walk in a disciplined manner and follow each other's lead. The herd then slowly begins to cross over the fenced area one by one, strolling at their own pace.

The elephants in the region often stray away from their corridors and enter the tea estates to look for subsistence, making the onlookers familiar with such incidents.
