Pupils in an Indian classroom were left terrified after a leopard walked into a lesson and attacked a boy.
The student, called Lakhiraj, suffered injuries on his right arm and back.
A video shows the leopard, said to be around seven to eight years old, in the room moving around after it attacked him.
It is seen curled up in one corner of the classroom in the Aligarh district amidst a pile of chairs. after being locked in for the safety of the other pupils.
The Forest Department in Aligarh, where the incident took place, was alerted about the predator and conducted a nine-hour rescue operation.
The video continues with a man from the Forest Department slowly approaching the leopard after it has been sedated.
The leopard is then carried out by four men on a green net.
