Brunch in the jungle: The beautiful sight of an orangutan calmly peeling a coconut
A forest guide in Indonesia witnessed the curiously calming sight of an orangutan peeling a coconut to get at the sweet snack inside.
The adult male expertly peeled the outside of the hard fruit with his teeth while being filmed, near the Beguruh Post inside Tanjung Puting National Park in Kalimantan on the island of Borneo.
Orangutans - the word means 'forest person' - are endangered, with expanding human settlements and agriculture threatening their habitats.
The filmer said: "Love nature, save forest, save orangutans, and let's do it together".
