Cloudy, cloudy and rainy weather. The wind was blowing weakly to the west. Air temperature 22-26 °C.
VISUAL
Mountain clear to fog 0-III. Soon the crater was not observed.
Observed 2 times of incandescent lava with a sliding distance of approximately 500 - 800m with the center of the avalanche located approximately 500m below the crater
Visually, Semeru Volcano is predominantly covered in fog.

RECOMMENDATION
1. People/visitors/tourists are not active within a radius of 1 Km from the crater/peak of Mount Semeru and a distance of 5 Km to the direction of the crater opening in the southeast - south sector, and be aware of hot clouds falling, lava avalanches, and lahars along rivers/valleys which originates at the peak of Mount Semeru. The radius and distance of this recommendation will continue to anticipate if there is a change in hazard symptoms.
2. So that the community or not to do activities in this hot cloud material area, the temperature is still high.
3. It is necessary to watch out for potential slides along the valley of the Besuk Kobokan hot cloud path.
4. Be aware of the threat of lahars in the river channel/valley that originates at Mount Semeru (considering the large amount of volcanic material that has been formed).
