Anti-lockdown protesters violently attacked journalists in Berlin, Germany, on Saturday 4 December.

The protesters oppose new restrictions on the unvaccinated and the possibility of a vaccine mandate -- something that will be debated by the country's parliament.

As well as those concerned about civil liberties, the anti-lockdown movement in Germany also contains violent extremists, particularly from the far-right.

Several journalists were attacked and harassed by a few aggressive protestors and several people were arrested during the day.

This video is part-mute after the filmer's camera was damaged when a protester attacked it.

Despite previous demonstrations attracting thousands of participants, Saturday's 'Freedom Parade' drew only a few hundred, in small gatherings around the city, after the previously planned demonstration was banned.
