Madrid on a 5 - day weekend with no covid restrictions on 4th December, 2021.
The Community of Madrid faces this holiday bridge without special restrictions, with the cumulative incidence in slight but persistent increase in the last weeks and care control, and uncertainty in the face of the omicrom variant.
Both days are national holidays and many fortunate will enjoy up to five holidays --from Saturday to Wednesday, Both included-- without mobility restrictions after last year’s closure on one of the holiday bridges with the largest reception of tourists from all over Spain to the capital on the dates before Christmas.
The certificate is already in force in the Balearic Islands, Catalonia, Galicia, Murcia, Navarre and the Valencian Community, while in the next few days five other autonomous communities could be added: Basque Country, Canary Islands, Andalusia, Asturias, Castile and Leon and Cantabria. The Community of Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura and La Rioja are not yet planning to introduce a compulsory covid passport to enter certain areas.
