An amusing video has emerged of a cat shutting itself in a closet – to the bemusement of a watching cat and dog.

In the footage, captured in a home in Barcelona, Spain late last month, the cat can be seen scrabbling at the closet before getting inside and closing the door behind him.

“My new foster cat is a bit of a weirdo. He locks himelf in the closet, much to Sun (corgi) & Schrödinger's (siamese) amazement,” the filmer later wrote online.
