Severe flash flooding carried off a truck and a bulldozer in Central Java in Indonesia today (December 7).

Footage captured on the swollen Jragung river showed the vehicles being swept along by the water.

Rescuers said there were no casualties as the drivers of the vehicles fled when they noticed the water around them rising.

Footage filmed on the Jragung river, Ungaran Regency, Central Java Province, Monday (December 6), shows trucks and dozers mining sand in the river's flow dragged by flash floods for hundreds of meters.

"There were no casualties. Workers had left the trucks and dozers when the river water started to overflow a few minutes earlier," Yulianto Rescue Quick Response Team officer said.

According to the officer, the high rainfall made the river's water discharge increase to overflowing into roads and settlements.
