The video was taken at noon today from a friend’s balcony in Ramsey, Isle of Man an hour before high tide during Storm Barra. A Smart car was still parked on the promenade after the community had been asked to move our vehicles and the fury of Barra was causing it to be blustered across the road, so a van moved in front of it to ensure the Smart car didn’t veer into a nearby building. The kayak floating by came from a local outdoor sport supplier, I think, who mightn’t have stored their items away sufficiently.
