A passing medical worker managed to rescue three monkeys that had been electrocuted by a utility pole in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Footage from December 5 shows the monkeys dropping to the ground one by one after being electrocuted by the pole.

Moiz Ahmad Khan, a medical support staff at a community health centre, spotted the animals in need and poured water over them.

He then revived the lifeless by pumping their hearts.

Khan had learnt to treat electric shock patients and used the same technique on the primates.

A man saved three monkeys on the verge of death after getting electrocuted in northern India's Uttar Pradesh on December 5. The incident took place in the Ali Zai region of the Shahjahanpur district.

Visuals feature the monkeys clinging onto an electric pole. Within moments, they get electrocuted and drop on the ground one by one. Right then, an alert onlooker swings into action and asks the locals for water. Later, he pours water on the monkeys lying lifelessly on the ground and puts them in a nearby drain. Following this, he revives the primates by pumping their hearts and spilling water on them. Meanwhile, the curious onlookers behold the experience.

The individual, identified as Moiz Ahmad Khan, works as medical support staff at a community health center. He saw the innocent monkeys on the verge of death and immediately took charge to save their lives. He learned the art of reviving electric shock patients and tried the same on the primates. Moreover, he put them in a nearby drain because that was the only available water source at the time.
