A herd of elephants, including a giant tusker, was spotted amid a clearing in Sri Lanka's North Central province on December 3. The incident took place in the Kekirawa region of the Anuradhapura district.

Visuals feature the herd stationed amid the clearing. The pachyderms stand in a line-like manner and engage with each other while grazing in the field. Then, the group, including calves, slowly begins moving, touring the region.

The elephants in the region are known for straying off their corridors to look for subsistence. They often relocate across the woods, making the locals familiar with such incidents.
