Brave delivery man climbs building to rescue family trapped in burning second-floor flat in China
A brave delivery man climbed onto a residential building to rescue a family of three trapped in a burning second-floor flat in central China.
A heroic video filmed in the city of Wuhan in Hubei Province on December 10 shows a delivery man standing on the first-floor window to grab a girl handed over by her parents from the second-floor flat.
He then helped the couple to climb down from the second-floor balcony and got into the first-floor flat safely.
Massive flames came out of the window on the second floor shortly after the family of three were rescued.
The delivery man named Zhang Yu said that he climbed onto the first floor but realised no one was in the flat. Luckily, the window was open so he climbed into the flat to rescue the trapped family.
The fire has been put out by firefighters. The case is under investigation.
