'Mystery' black clumps wash up on LA beach
An unusual video has emerged of mysterious clumps of oil washing up on a beach in California, US.
The footage was captured on Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles on Wednesday and shows what are locally being called 'mystery' golf-ball sized globs. Authorities have advised people not to visit to the beach until testing has been completed and have cordoned off the area.
The filmer later wrote online that "massive amounts of gooey tar like oil globs were sloshing around ... just before the authorities closed the beach for clean up".
