'Santa Cruise' thrilled Londoners as he rode through the UK capital's streets on his high-tech electric sleigh on Saturday 11 December.

He also brought joy to some lucky children who were randomly handed presents from the back of his festive cruiser.

He not only cruised around London's West End, he also let some lucky boys and girls ride his electric sleigh, albeit slowly and in straight lines.

'Santa Gnar,' as it's been nicknamed, can hit speeds of 20mph (32kmh) and has a 20-mile (32km) range. It's thought to be the world's first electric sleigh built to this standard.

Santa Cruise's final words before he zoomed down Whitehall were: "This year I wanted to demonstrate I care about about the children and the planet!"
