Geminid meteors flew across the night sky in the early hours of this morning (December 13) ahead of tomorrow's peak.

This footage was captured by Olivier Staiger in the Swiss Alps.

"Already quite a few meteors are visible. Looking very promising for the main event Tuesday morning," Staiger said.
