However, for the last few days, Thakurgaon has been covered with thick fog for the first part of the day.

However, mild winter arrives in this district at the beginning of November. But suddenly the fog and cold prevailed from evening. Fog with winter at night and sunlight when the sun rises. Himel light breeze in the evening. The deeper the night, the greater the incidence of fog and cold. The district is covered with a blanket of fog for the first part of the day. At the end of the day, at the beginning of noon, the sun peeks through the fog and peeks into the sky.

Due to the fog, the vehicles are moving with their headlights on during the day. Scenes that can be seen in different upazilas of the district for the last few days.

People in remote areas of the district yearn for winter clothes. So they humbly request the government to provide them with warm clothes.

As there is no meteorological department in the district, the work of measuring the temperature is done by the district agriculture extension department. Even after that, the temperature measuring machine broke down again. Due to this, they have to get a lot of speed to measure the temperature, said Deputy Director of the District Agricultural Extension Department, agriculturist Abu Hossain.

He said the minimum temperature was measured at 15 degrees Celsius and the maximum at 28 degrees Celsius on Thursday morning, November 25 this week.

The number of children infected with cold has also increased in hospitals.

This time, the people of the civil society said that the outbreak of winter is likely to be more. Therefore, they hope that the district administration will distribute winter clothes properly and properly.

According to the Deputy Commissioner's Office, the district has so far received 8 lakh Taka in cash for the purchase of 26,300 blankets and winter clothes.

Deputy Commissioner of Thakurgaon said distribution of winter clothes has already started. As the incidence of winter in Thakurgaon is high every year, the government has been asked to allocate 1 lakh more blankets and 25 lakh Taka as per the demand.
